As you are nearing the completion of your studies please review the links below. Most links will be connected to the Graduate School, however there are also requirements by department. Timing of Thesis and Dissertation
For all students, the committee and major professor will also provide guidance on the timing of the thesis/dissertation defense

Completion of Program
As the student nears completion of their program, it is also important to clear up any incomplete grades or other residual issues from past coursework or examinations
Clear up Incomplete Grades
Once the defense is complete and the thesis/dissertation is filed with the Graduate School, the FERM department head will request an exit interview with the student to review their program and experiences in the department. This feedback is a critical part of FERM’s commitment to continuous improvement in its teaching efforts.
